No this is not the alien probe I had surgically removed from my ass last winter (too small), it is the Google Street View Camera! Cool, right? There are MANY homages dedicated to the extremely weird things that GSVC has caught in its lifetime… but this one is pretty cool:

Two years ago, Google sent out an army of hybrid electric automobiles, each one bearing nine cameras on a single pole. Armed with a GPS and three laser range scanners, this fleet of cars began an endless quest to photograph every highway and byway in the free world.

If you want your guests and neighbors to believe you have personality, a doormat with some sass is a great way to trick them into thinking you’re interesting and complex. Being the serious journalist I am, I Google image searched “funny doormats” and have compiled a batch-o-mats that will make you l-o-l.
