Beatles Rock Band Instruments

Most of you that know me IRL know that besides rugged good looks, complete alpha-ness, and missing sense of smell- my other gift is playing the drums on musical beat games. Up to Hard anyway. On Expert I just start sweating profusely and screaming at my teammates (read: dog… he does vocals) and well- there was that one seizure…

Full disclosure- I fall on the Guitar Hero side of the spectrum, but the bottom line is that the competition between these two franchises is a GOOD thing for you- the consumer. They will keep coming up with innovative ways to out-do each other. Further, because the margin on the instruments themselves are razor thin, there is no driver to make the games incompatible with the competing franchise’s instruments. I won’t lie. It is boring as hell to sit here and watch this kid do this. So don’t. Take my word for it… this kid does Guitar Hero’s Mr Crowley on Expert (for the uninitiated- expert is finger-numbingly difficult)- for the most part with his elbow while his offhand solves not one, but two Rubik’s Cube puzzles.

The question remains however, can he solve a Rubik’s cube while crying his lonely ass self to sleep?
